Introduction ⅰ.HANATOUR HANATOUR, was founded in Jan 1993, is the largest travel agency in Korea. They have been operating network covering 30 areas around the world, with over 2,500 employees. They own now many branches at home and abroad such as Korea, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and so on. It has been keeping the top on the first in Korean tourism industry for the past thirteen years in regards to overseas travel and air ticket sales. A. history HANATOUR started their business as Kook-Jin travel Agency in 1993. They changed their name to HANATOUR Service, INC and they opened branch offices in Busan, Gangnam, Daegu, Daejeon, Incheon, Gwang-ju, Soowon, Cheongju, and Gangrung in 1996. They opened overseas office as ASIA HANATOUR in Thailand, 1999. Besides, they signed a preferred sales agency contract with US Trek America and GSA contract with Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruises in 1999. They launched TOURTOTAL.COM which is a specialized portal site for tourism information. After that, they opened overseas offices in Hong Kong, US, Australia, NewZealand, Saipan, Philippine and Guam. First in industry, they were listed in KOSDAQ in 2000. In 2001, they opened branch office in Incheon International Airport and overseas offices in Hawaii, New York, Canada and Italy. They also signed master franchise contract with Amex Travel. They introduced Annual donation funding system and established subsidiary HANATOURIST . They opened branch offices in Youngdeungpo and Samsungdong, Jeju and Sooncheon in 2003. Moreover, they established subsidiary HANA KANGSAN , HANATOUR INTERNATIONAL in the same year. Next year, they established subsidiary TOURMARKETING KOREA and Joined hands with OK TOUR .
