Four kinds of success of Nissans corporate culture

Cost-Leadership
Profitability through the reduction platform (production cars)
Nissan has been working to ensure profitability through drastic reduction of the platform. For some cars had a deficit, companies were invading an adverse effect on the performance of the whole. After Nissan announced NRP stopped production of unpopular models, By reducing the platform to focus resources on some models it was to gain a competitive advantage. To this it was venturing a gradual reduction of the existing platform. Eliminating the unpopular vehicle, While focusing resources on the most popular models of Nissans profitability began to recover.
Lead time reduction

Sales channel adjustment
Nissan has been made in restructuring the sales channels fields. Nissan dealers were taking a higher margin above 20% than other companies despite the sluggish performance. NRP is executed to reduce the dealers. On the other hand extended the training period in order to enhance their capacity and sales, the total number of distribution channels were reduced from four to two. Through this it improved the sales division of the high cost low efficiency.
